Our privately owned practice is known for our personalized approach to patient care and deep commitment to the animals and owners we serve. With 6 veterinarians and a support staff of 15+ we are looking for the perfect fit for our team.
Position Overview
We’re seeking a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about animal health, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and enjoys providing excellent service to both pets and pet parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with exams, surgeries, and procedures
- Surgical preparation, administration and monitoring anesthesia
- Perform sample collection, diagnostic testing, and laboratory work
- Monitor and care for hospitalized or recovering patients
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a clean, safe environment
- Communicate effectively with clients about patient care
Qualifications
- Required: Veterinary Technician degree/certification (CVT)
- Preferred: 1+ year(s) of clinical experience, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and a team player
- Strong technical and communication skills
